Principal & Chief Visionary Officer
WHAT SHE DOES
Gwen is fascinated by each individual’s unique design and their potential to build something that changes lives, and she gets up every day trying to figure out ways to help them discover and express that in their companies. Her job is to push the limits and imagine a future that solves real problems, makes work more meaningful, and creates more delight and profit for everyone involved.
WHY SHE DOES IT
She interacts with clients about the practical job that they ask for while determining the best and most effective way to accomplish what is needed to reach their goals. When you’re working with Gwen, she wants you to feel like you have an advocate who truly sees you, who will go to any length to serve you, and who is motivated less by fear of failure than the possibility of brilliant success.
HOW SHE GOT HERE
As an artist, she has spent her entire life creating to inspire and bring about change. Her family and environment have prepared her to go out into the world with the opportunity to try and fail often and to learn every step of the way. In that process, every experience has taught her to keep the big picture in view while crafting an actionable plan to get there.
Transferable skills have served her from her first job at an advertising agency, to one startup after another, to coaching entrepreneurs–making her a skilled strategist. In every job in advertising, marketing, luxury retail management, and ministry and each business endeavor, she learned that guiding the development of brands is her happy place and that making Adam Red clients the heroes is her mission.
WHY ADAM RED?
She loves building Adam Red because it enables her to create something bigger than herself, and she gets to invest in people and their visions to improve lives, transform communities, and make a lasting impact. In the process, she gets to become the best version of herself. Her Christian faith is the foundation of her life and business. That’s why she believes that we were all created for a purpose, that we’re gifted, and that we’re here to use our talents to serve. She’s driven to help people discover who they are, why they’re here, and how to build companies that make a difference.
WHEN SHE’S NOT WORKING
She’s moved to happy tears by her dollhouse miniatures collection, coming up with a jewellery or crocheted wears design, writing poetry, stalking the Internet for pictures of her new grandson, and binge watching Netflix, Hulu, and Prime with her photographer husband.
